Tier 2 - Conflict Circle Training

Intermediate participants in this 2-day training will review RJ theory, practice, data and protocols for facilitating community-building Circles; and be introduced to, learn protocols for, and gain skills in facilitating conflict Circles. The 2-day training will emphasize interactivity, relationship-building, and skills-building. Much of the second day will be devoted to simulated exercises to acquire skills in facilitating Conflict Circles.

Building Community Through Restorative Justice

Join Associate Director of Impact Justice’s Restorative Justice Project Ashlee George for a dynamic workshop exploring the basic philosophies, principles, and practices of restorative justice through experiential activities, reflection, lecture, and discussion.

"The Pushouts" Documentary Screening

OUSD Restorative Justice and Fremont High School will be screening of the award-winning documentary, The Pushouts, followed by youth-led circles focusing on themes of trauma in communities of color, the school-to-prison pipeline, opportunities to heal, breaking cycles of violence, how education can happen differently, and the urgency of these issues.
