As RJ Student Leaders, we share a common interest in the health and wellness in our communities in responding to conflict and harm. We are learning valuable skills and strategies for responding to conflicts in our communities. We also learn to address conflicts that occur through power asymmetries, miscommunication, stress, and academic dishonesty. Our leaders are also trained to engage restorative responses to sexual and racial harms. Many of our alumni are working in fulfilling careers by bringing RJ to schools, prisons, juvenile justice facilities, re-entry programs, and community-based organizations. The Restorative Justice Center is currently expanding its work to address conflict and harms among staff and faculty while also providing trainings and workshops that enhance their skills in responding to conflict and harm in their spaces.
