Restorative Justice in Action: Jacqueline Bueno

One of our RJ Student Leaders, Jacqueline Bueno, presented at #AFLVWest, on Friday, April 6, a four-day conference from April 5 to April 8 in San Diego, to discuss how Greek life at colleges in the Western region of the U.S. can implement equity-based programming on their campuses. Bueno's presentation was an hour-long and included topics discussing the role of racial tensions in the U.S. to giving an overview of what education on inclusivity looks like during recruitment and throughout the school year.

Bueno was the former UC Berkeley Panhellenic VP of Community Development and utilized her background in qualitative and quantitative Social Research on Asian-American women in STEM and the Model Minority and serving on the Equity Committee at her community college to give this presentation. We are so proud of the work Bueno has done.
